During law school, Jade was an active member with Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers, Women’s Legal Mentorship Program, Ontario Justice Education Network, Level Justice, and law-student run musical productions. Jade graduated Cum Laude (JD) and with Distinction (MA) from the dual-degree Juris Doctor and Master of Arts Program at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law and Carleton University’s Norman Paterson School of International Affairs. Jade has also appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and Ontario Court of Justice, assisting a sole practitioner with a criminal defence case. Focusing on litigation, she worked in a myriad of areas including securities law, class actions, fraud, and international trade.
